My former colleague, Anne Phillips, who is now Co-Principal of the Northern Baptist Learning Community has published her first book - a revision of her recently completed PhD thesis at the University of Manchester.
The Faith of Girls explores a much neglected area, looking both at how girls (and maybe boys as well) in our churches are growing in their faith, and how girls especially can be encouraged and supported through the difficult early adolescent years.
It is multidisciplinary, and would be of interest to people studying or working in many areas of academic and church life, particularly ministers and youth workers, those studying child and/or faith development, women’s studies/feminist theology, people training for ministry or on youth, children’s or community work courses.
If you are interested, or know others who might be interested in seeing a copy, the Ashgate flyer can be found by clicking on the picture.
