There are moments in life that clearly come into the category of serendipity or perhaps even providence. 15 minutes after completing yesterday's post on an analogy for understanding Pauline soteriology, would you believe it...the postperson showed up and deposited in my pigeon hole a large package, not from Amazon, but from Fortress Press, who have been kind enough to send me a review copy of the latest volume in the Dietrich Bonhoeffer Works series.
And this is not just any volume in that series. Volume 8 is the new edition of the Letters and Papers from Prison, translated from the German edition of 1998 and edited by John de Gruchy.
All is of grace.
What am I going to do with it? Well see here for details and watch out for a review her on the blog in due course. I suspect a friend of mine in the far reaches of Scotland is probably feeling very very jealous right now.
jealousy extends to the far reaches of Wales too

Is that what you were reading as you walked around the oval dodging the footy players???
Sounds like a book worth being bonked on the nut for!
