Distraction Tactics!

So far during my sabbatical there has been very little inclination to blog.  I have quite enjoyed keeping my head down and remaining relatively out of touch.  In the interval, however, several life-developments have proved more than distracting, but I am now at a point when I need some distraction from those developments - so I thought I would post a couple of things and see (as well as play around with the format of Sean the Baptist).  I am pleased to see that Typepad has introduced several improvement (making the annual payment worthwhile), and that in itself may encourage me to get back into the routine of posting every few days, or perhaps more.  So for those of you who were worrying ... laughs ... I am still here.
